The luggage/cooler rack measures 10x14 inches. The adapter goes under the ball of the receiver on the trailer hitch. You take the ball off, put the adaptor on and then put the ball back on again and tighten. The rack slides into the adapter and is secured by 2 pins to hold it in place. The rack is powder coated in black. This can also fit the Markland hitch, but with a little different installation.
